As a New York State Licensed Business School and a 501(c)(3) charity with a mission of self-sufficiency, self-empowerment, self enrichment, and independence for persons with ALL disabilities, we believe acquiring job skills that employers want is critical to getting and keeping a good job.
The Center’s staff has extensive experience in business, as well as counseling and teaching. This unique blend of skills provides students with a nurturing and street-smart approach to reaching and maintaining their employment goals.
However, you should know our way of instruction is very different from the way you learned in high school or college. We see our role as a partner; to assist our members in their journey, at their request, and at their pace.
To insure our students and instructors are aligned with the evolving job skill demands of the marketplace, the Center is fortunate to have parents, providers, educators and talented corporate leaders to guide us.
To date, The Center has assisted over 4,000 persons with ALL disabilities to train for today’s workforce.
